The purpose of this site is to describe some of Jens Olsen's clocks, and in particular his great astronomical clock.
Jens Olsen was born in Ribe, Denmark, in 1872 and died in Copenhagen in 1945.
I plan to issue a new description of Jens Olsen's astronomical clock, in several installments. These installments will be made freely available, because I want to reach a larger audience in order to improve my description. Some of the already available installments may be improved during this process. The installments are written little by little, and here are the ones currently available:

I would in particular like to hear from people who have archives (documents, articles, photographs, etc.) or other particular items on Jens Olsen or items related to his clocks. Does someone have the plans of the computus? Is someone willing to help with the translation of Danish texts?
